Green Energy Update!
Progressives are sacrificing millions of starving poor people upon the altar of Gaia...
But with food prices rising sharply in recent months, many experts are calling on countries to scale back their headlong rush into green fuel development, arguing that the combination of ambitious biofuel targets and mediocre harvests of some crucial crops is contributing to high prices, hunger and political instability. (NY Times - Food Prices Stir Concern Cars)
The World Bank has warned that rising food prices, driven partly by rising fuel costs, are pushing millions of people into extreme poverty.(BBC - Food Prices Driving Millions to Poverty)Liberal compassion for the poor and downtrodden is a sick joke. Grand schemes of the left have killed over 100 million people and continue to enslave millions more.

The planet comes first, Silver. There are just too many people. Once enough of them die of starvation there will be sufficient food for the rest. It's all for the greater good. Don't you feel good every time you fill-up your gas tank? I hope there is room in hell for all these socialist do-gooders!
ReplyDeleteProgressives use the global warming hoax as a tool to control the masses. First they convinced otherwise rational people that man-made climate change is reality, and then they proceeded to push green inititives as the only way to save the planet from certin destruction. The use of food crops to make green energy is, of course, just the next step to control the little people, redistribute American wealth to developing countries, and to facilitate the destruction of our capitalistic way of life.
ReplyDeleteThe plan is right on schedule, and the poor will be the first to suffer. Sadly, many of the poor will blame the wrong people for what has happened to them.
I still cannot believe in light of the fact that Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" has been revealed as a hoax and forged information - people still buy into this global warming nonsense. Obama is destroying our nations along with the dems and libs. It is a sad day in our nation - everyday.
ReplyDeleteI've seen that video, Mustang, it's quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with your "State of Fear" thesis.
The same warning(s) was/were going out when Bush 43 was calling for biofuel albeit not from the NYT or the BBC. No, they were calling for more.
ReplyDeleteBeing both 'organizations' are but propaganda mouthpieces for the left I am sure they did not refer to this as an "unintended consequence" of their constant trumpeting of the idea (I did not link to either) but am sure somewhere buried in their respective accounts is to actually continue down this path but somehow do it 'smarter', i.e. more money just like 'education'.
You've got the stretch limo version of GM's new Obama 4000, I see!
ReplyDeleteMustang correctly states that most readers here are onto the scheme.
ReplyDeleteBut not most Americans. Yet.
I am so saddened of how far the Left has damaged our nation. I am worried about how high the fuel costs are going to get and the price of food is getting just as bad. A gallon of milk is now $3.48!! And my family drinks at least 3 a week. Thank God I have a job, part-time and my husband is blessed with a full-time job.
ReplyDeleteSomething has got to be done before we all end up under government control.
You might add to "lope on a golf course." Great to see Ray's name here.
ReplyDeleteThese green initiatives are so scary. They will not give up. Ethanol is a joke, but they forge forward. They have so much personally invested. No telling what Congress is being offered to support these programs.
Now Obama is back talking about taking away the tax deduction for charitable donations. They so desperatly want and need control.
Where are the smart mouthed leftist like Jersey? I guess calling out the left on starving people in the name of eco-purity has got their tongue.
ReplyDeleteI'm in a place where people are starving. I can't just sit in an ivory tower and pretend it's not happening.
Now you know what the real aim of going-green is. Climate and sustainability my ass!
ReplyDeleteTrestin: More people need to see what you're seeing up close. It changes you.
