There Will be Mud

The Democrats are in deep doo doo.  The two-year hopium-induced progressive-palooza angered the electorate and resulted in Republicans retaking the house.  Decisively.  The senate is next, and they risk losing the presidency as well.

Signs of Democrat desperation are everywhere.  Rushing to embrace the stinking anti-capitalist agglomeration of street bums, latte leftists, liberal arts students, anarchists and assorted weirdos squatting in fetid tent camps is just their latest act of desperation.  Identifying with sweaty mobs who attack police, smash windows and rail against the Jews will not help them.  Even Joe Biden threatening more rapes and murders only moved Obama's public opinion needle lower.

The Democrat Party:  Old, Tired, Gray, Yesterday...

I said it years ago, and we're seeing it play out now. Obama is all the Democrats have.  The group picture of the Democrat political headliners looks like a Halloween display.

The Democrat party is spilling over with grotesque freaks (Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Michael Moore), angry jackasses (Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Sheila Jackson Lee, Al Franken), criminals (Charlie Rangel, Rod Balgojevich, William Jefferson, Anthony Wiener) or grumpy anonymi (Harry Reid, Carl Levin, Dick Durban).

The states and cities Democrats control are putrid sinkholes of corruption and economic collapse.  Liberal mayors who vowed to be "down with the struggle," are now trapped between losing cred by cleaning up the violent, unsanitary rabble that is destroying their cities, or letting them rant and rage unmolested.

Obama's All They Got

The sagging, aging Democrat party hung its fortunes on the youthful and handsome Barack Obama. He was clean and articulate, his speech was free of ethnic dialect.  He was the last hope for the intellectually and morally bankrupt statists. The dems had slept their way to the top with Wall Street; exchanging their mantle of virtue for a see-through nightie, and it ain't pretty what's underneath.
"We came, we saw, he died."
-- Hilary Clinton gloating over Gadhaffi's death
As Barack Obama goes, so goes the Democrat party, so we're hearing talk about how tough he is.  How he shot Bin Laden, bravely bombed all those brown people in south Asia, and put Khadaffi on the run, personally ordering him to be beaten, dragged through the streets, sodomized with a chunk of rebar, and killed.

You know they're desperate when the Obama sycophants churn out laughable playground smack like this:
And he’s the same guy who will leave quarts of blood on the floor in the coming months to defend his office.

Obama likes to get into people’s heads. It might be a coincidence that Obama called Texas Gov. Rick Perry about the wildfires in the Lone Star State just hours before Perry was participating in his first debate. And it might not.

On the golf course, on the basketball court and even in the Cabinet Room, the president has shown repeatedly that he is a mindfreak, to use a term from the basketball courts. (Sam Youngman - I Want to be Obama's Love Slave)
When Obama goes down, they all go down...
“It didn’t have to be this way,” said another House Democrat who requested anonymity in order to speak candidly. “Obama’s presidency has fizzled. It’s going to be every person for himself in 2012. There just won’t be any coattails, and any effect he does have on the ballot will hurt us.” (Politico)
Left Blogistanis still cheer one another by pointing to polls showing that Americans hate the Republican party. Well, it’s worse than that for democrats: America hates their policies, their legislation, their progressive wealth-destroying monstrosities, and their anti-liberty philosophy.  Americans hate big government.  Obamacare is a carcass rotting in the sun. The stink swells as time goes on.

All they have left is fear and smear. There will be mud

  1. I wish I was as optimistic as you are about this........
Republicans must get MORE TRUE COVERAGE and candidates must NEVER do a CNN debate EVER AGAIN, and we need to start digging the dirt on Obama FINALLY. There's far more on him than all the Rep candidates put together, and it's sad they can find stuff on our guys but there's some moratorium about investigating who paid for Obama's harvard education, how he got a publishing house to print two autobiographies but an unknown young guy (*I'm a writer, it's impossible unless someone funds it), what his grades were like, SO MUCH MORE.

I don't think there's a chance we can win 2012, but I'll feel like the weight of the world off my shoulders if we do, I can tell you!

  2. Another sign of the Dems' desperation?

Like Z, I'm not as optimistic as you are, Silverfiddle. Of course, I live here in the D.C. area, which proliferates with Obama supporters.

  3. I don't doubt that Obama can lose in 2012...but with the 'anybody but Obama' mentality, look at what we might end up with.

Until the GOP actually practices the principles it preaches [conservatism]...I still look to an unelectable third party to earn my vote.

  4. Kurt,

    I see it.

    I believe it.

Obama and his Socialist Party are being exposed, and New Camelot is crumbling, while its naked Emperor plays a fiddle above a burning DC, and the Royal Wife eats cake.

True enough. We all see it.

There will be mud....? Hmmm. Such an understatement. The 2012 Presidential election is going to be a political/governmental bloodbath that will have a world-impacting effect.

However, wen Obama loses, expect race riots along the lines of South Central LA and the OJ trial and when any professional athletic team in a big city win a title. (Because destroying property in celebration and destroying property in anger are so darn similar...)

When Obama loses, the race-baiters will invest in, and feed off, the ignorance of the minority urbanites.

    Just watch.

  5. There are plenty of people who are not liberal arts students that are in bed with the Democrats. My guess is that every unionized worker is with them.

That means tons of people who have never been to college--auto workers, government employees, etc.--all vote Democrat.

So really, what is your problem with those of us who have liberal arts educations?

  6. The best thing he did for us was delaying the Canadian pipeline til 2013. So obvious and as oil prices rise there will be a visercal response to his political posturing. His simply being "Present" will not carry the day.

Is there any need to point to the Republican clown car?

  8. @Jack,

I would be offended by Kurt's statement regarding liberal arts students only if that shoe fit me.

I live in CT. It is a liberal State. So if someone says, "I hate people from CT because they are liberal scum!", I am not offended, simply because I am a non-liberal scum who happens to live in CT. I can see the forest for the trees.

Not all generalizations are designed to have a personal attack component. I mean, unless you are a liberal who went to a liberal arts school of some kind.

  10. Divine,

I'm not sure if Jack is a liberal, but to address your question about liberals consistently seeking to be made into victims, I blame their parents.

Perhaps they weren't breast-fed. Perhaps their parents wanted to be their friends and NOT their parents. (a big difference) Maybe they were left to their own devices and realized early on that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, and that being a victim yields better free swag than actually having to work for it.

Your guess is as good as mine.

I believe liberalism is a spiritual and mental disease, for no one in their right mind looks at themselves as willing victims.

  11. I certainly agree with your description of Democrats, Kurt. However, I'm not sure the Republicans are going to offer us anything substantially different. I can't see a President Romney or a President Gingrich undoing the 100 years of statist structural changes that are embedded in our government today.

  12. "As Barack Obama goes, so goes the Democrat party, so we're hearing talk about how tough he is"
But, on the other hand, we are witnessing some on the left who are running re-election campaigns, and how they are avoiding being seen with Obama (scheduling conflicts and all. Yeah, right)

I have strongs feeling this is his last year in the Whitehouse.

And what exactly would that be? His bio reads like every other two bit politician out there.

"If the congress, both houses, had any decency in the majority, Obama would be great president."

And if pigs had wings they'd be birds.

So... exactly how was his life more admirable than say, Jimmy Carter? Or any other US president?

While I disagree with his politics, I don't consider him the devil himself as some do. He strikes me as rather unremarkable and in way over his head, and honestly strikes me as rather inept. More along the lines of Jimmy Carter than LBJ. Clinton was a better president.

When all is said and done I think he'll be ranked down there with the likes of Franklin Pierce and James Buchanan, not up there alongside of Woodrow Wilson or FDR, among Democratic presidents.

Aside from the 'rooting for the home team' effect, I frankly don't see why you are so enamoured.

  22. I really enjoyed reading article. This is my first visit to Silver Fiddle's "Western Hero". CRAP, I have been missing out.

It's tempting to hate the Dems! I think Obama is in way over his head. Pelosi and Reid are misfits. As a licensed physician in Cali I think Obamacare is the worst piece of legislation I have seen in 35 years of being a voter.

I am exhausted by our nation’s lack of leadership over the last 10-20-30 years (both parties). I have beem tempted to drop out but refuse to.

Deepak Chopra says if we live in the light then we have a shadow. The shadow is our dark side. He contends that our dark side is tempted to act in positions of authority and obedience. Authority says I can do anything I want. Obedience says I can submit to anything I want or must.

Man and woman’s shadows are tempted to act when we have power structures run amok. We have seen the shadows of the Catholic Church; we see them when our political leaders (both Dems and Repub) fail us. We have seen this occur at Penn State and when the military suffers from poor leadership. You will agree, there has to be accountability.

There are reasons we have extreme polarization in politics. I think we have to look at ourselves. Is it possible there is a collective denial of who we are?

It’s more than politics. Most of us want leaders to be accountable; the leaders of corporations and the leaders of our two political parties. But both parties are failing us. Institutions are failing us. There is a collective rage from the left, right and center that is common ground. Perhaps we can work on underlying causes.

  23. Ducky,

Why didn't you write in English when you posted your long loooooong list? How could anyone hope to understand what you meant by publishing the names of many of the sanest, most truthful, most helpful and distinguished voices in American political commentary today?

With a number of exceptions most of us would have to regard that as a FRIENDS list. Apparently you look at it as an ENEMIES list. Is that correct?

What were you trying to convey to us?

What were you trying to prove?

    Sincerely,

    FreeThinke

  24. Ducky: What's the point of your list?

I did chuckle at your Newt "bringing in the sheaves" comment. The Dems won't have to bring Newt down, his own operatic bloviating and his pile of steamer trunk baggage will do that.

Anybody would be better than Obama. Even after three years he is still in over his head. I would take Warren Buffet over him (who I think has just what we need right now. Why don't dems draft him?)

  26. KP: Thank you for stopping by!

Being a small government guy, my solution is to take everything away from the federal government not mentioned in the constitution and leave those things to the states and the people, as enunciated in the 9th and 10th Amendment.

We are too big and too diverse for this hydra-headed monster of one-size-fits-all federal government "solutions."

Current Poll from Rasmussen has him just 2% back... that with 8 other candidate in tow.
And Fannie & Freddie? What pisses off the left is he did business with them and made money doing it. Thats America for you. Making money is a nasty thing with the left..... Attacking the new front runner, like with Cain, cause they can't run on Obama's record. Is that how the Dems are going to win? LOL!!

  31. Silver: I don't admire Sanders one bit. Anyone who argues in favor of left-wing fascism (socialism) is never honest, as that ideology is based on lies.

Or do you mean he is at least honoest enough to admit what he believes?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Dmarks: Sanders is a straighforward man. He says what he believes and he's not afraid to call bs on the dems.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes, Kurt, but Sanders' beliefs are toxic. What bothers me most about Bernie, however, are the people who put him in office.

Out and out Marxism -- which IS what he advocates -- is like Islam -- fundamentally and diametrically opposed to the sentiments and principles of our founding documents -- and of Christianity, which is and always has been the religion in some form or other of the vast, vast majority of those who built America the Beautiful.

The country wasn't founded by the descendants of eternally warring Semitic tribes -- and the way of life we developed for ourselves has little or no relation to Middle Eastern or Asiatic patterns of thought and belief -- unless you want to argue that Christianity, itself, is an outgrowth of Judaism.

I don't believe that it is. I've been reading the Bible from cover to cover in the past few months, and it seems sparkling clear that Christ's message opposes and rejects Judaism, as it was practiced up until the time of His Advent.

Jesus was a revolutionary -- radial, an upstart, a troublemaker. He came "not to bring peace but a Sword."

In a very real sense we are what we believe. Ergo, it well behooves us to keep good thoughts in our heads and in those of our children. People of Sanders' ilk are here to do just the opposite.

    All the best,

    ~ FreeThinke

  34. I can see your optimism, but not as hopeful. The GOP can't seem to pull it together there are too many that are undecided and pushing for this or that candidate, we cannot seem to agree on one.

The Dems will not give up regardless of what we are seeing and hearing. They are a relentless and immoral group that have no qualms about stooping to the lowest of levels to get their points and sick agendas across.

I wouldn't count them out just yet.
