Anybody else noticing how angry and shouty Obama and Biden have become?
Mitt Romney has:
"Mr. President, take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago," – Mitt Romney
Amen!
How do we know Obama has robbed $700 billion from Medicare to pay for Obamacare?
By listening to his own words. From a 2009 Jake Tapper interview:
By listening to his own words. From a 2009 Jake Tapper interview:
TAPPER: One of the concerns about health care and how you pay for it — one third of the funding comes from cuts to Medicare.
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Right.
TAPPER: Are you willing to pledge that whatever cuts in Medicare are being made to fund health insurance, one third of it, that you will veto anything that tries to undo that?
OBAMA: Yes. I actually have said that it is important for us to make sure this thing is deficit neutral, without tricks. I said I wouldn’t sign a bill that didn’t meet that criteria. The full transcript of the interview can be read here. (ABC News)
Every Court Needs a Jester…
VP Biden continues to provide comic relief to an otherwise unfunny campaign, warning black folks about that slavery plank in the GOP platform.
When Hairy Reed said “He’s light-skinned and doesn’t speak with a negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,” we had no idea he was talking about Biden.

John Zogby polling has Romney receiving a surprising 41% of the youth vote, bad news for Obama. Zogby concludes:

ReplyDelete"Angry and shouty" to a partisan who is opposed the team--energized and full of piss and ginger to everyone else. Your take on it is nothing more than subjective sour-grapes.
They've got their mojo, and it sounds like the opposition would prefer some mealthy-mouthed, namby-pamby, roll-over-and-play-dead opposition candidates instead of men who are passionate about what they believe. and not afraid to speak out about it.
As you like to remind me, Silverfiddle, when I talk about the "tone" of the campaign and the "flip-flopping," --Wow! It's a presidential campaign! And stuff happens!
I really do hope that this is their mojo, Shaw. I much prefer Obama and Biden like this. I'm waiting for one or both of them to pull an Ed Schulz and threaten to burn something down.
ReplyDeleteIt is a presidential campaign, and stuff happens. I'm not complaining. This is great entertainment. God bless Gaffmaster Joe!
I couldn't agree more Silver. Great free entertainment provided by Obie and Dufus. It just doesn't get any better.
DeleteThe truly scary part of this is that brother biden is a heartbeat away from the presidency. He is so out of touch with reality, telling voters in Virginia they are going to win North Carolina, that he could possible be a bigger disaster than His Magnificent.
ReplyDeleteCarter has to love this pair, makes him look semi competent and that is hard to do.
Every time I see topics like this one my blood pressure spikes to unhealthy levels. Welcome to the U.S.A. under the rule of King 0bama the Wonderful One, where we no longer have any rule of law. It absolutely infuriates me.
ReplyDeleteLets call it like it really is, giving American jobs to foreigners to get votes.
This country is in dept up to it’s ears we have 13,000,000 unemployed, millions of small business DESTROYED
$15,400,000,000,000.00 national debt, and getting larger every minute
Maybe some people are impressed by this Snake Oil salesman, but I’m not. Or maybe it’s because I’m a Conservative racist! But I’ll admit Obama has really achieved a great deal in a very short amount of time!
Yes, Obama has accomplished a lot but unfortunately none of it is good. He accomplished just about every socialistic agenda he wanted he shoved down our throats. Lets not forget that Benito Mussolini accomplished a lot in Italy also, he made the trains run on time. Obama hasn’t even done that.
Obama and his wacked-out side kick Joe Biden have been bitching and complaining that the Bain-Capital Corp. by closing a few American manufacturing plants years after Romney departed that company, essentially sent a few hundred American jobs from those plants to foreigners. They are felons, they are the ones who are violating the law.
The country is in the worse shape it’s ever been in and I blame it on the great Uniter. Obama has done quite enough for me thank you, he can't leave soon to satisfy me.
And they call Paul Ryan a big spending conservative.. Hows that for Chutzpah ?
Joe Biden has brain damage. I'm not being snarky. His behaviors are consistent with a particular kind of brain damage that typically involves fabrication. It's a strange phenomenon but quite common in neuro patients.
ReplyDeleteOops! Not "fabrication." CONFABULATION. Look it up online, and you'll see what I'm talking about.
ReplyDeleteGood grief! What to say to THIS?
ReplyDeleteI hope Biden keeps up the good work, don't you? Meanwhile, the DNC is in denial. They don't see anything horrible about Biden's remarks, but then no one has done more to re-enslave black Americans than the Democratic Party. I don't blame the Democrats; I blame those blacks who allow themselves so easily fooled.
ReplyDeleteBut let’s be honest about this; McCain and Palin are brain damaged, too. Can you imagine either one suggesting that Obama drop Biden for Clinton? Sheeesh.
I am starting to get a spring in my step. Looking better, we just might pull this off.
ReplyDeleteAOW: I remember when you posted your theory on Biden, and I think you nailed it. You may want to re-post; it was interesting reading.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the Chicago monument to Obama's first kiss, will they also have a monument where his fictional white girlfriend cried because she couldn't be black?
What's next? Hawaii marketing commemorative bongs immortalizing Obama's dope smoking Choom Gang?
You know what's funny Silver? That memorial to the 0bamas' first kiss at Baskin Robbins would never have been there...had BAIN CAPITAL not saved the Baskin Robbins in the first place. The irony!
ReplyDeleteSilver, do you understand the difference between Obama's "cuts" and what Ryan and Romney have proposed? I bet you don't. Better look it up, or just look like yet another angry, hateful con playing the ol' bait 'n switch again.
ReplyDeleteJMJ
Jersey: The bait n' switch is being played on you, and it's your messiah doing it.
ReplyDeleteMy people in Haiti suffered from people like Biden but we solved that problem in 1791. Now we have to figure out what to do about the black tyrants.
ReplyDeleteAs so eloquently said by Donald Trump
ReplyDeleteSo let me get this straight . . .
We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't.
Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,
written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a Dumbo President who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who
didn't pay his taxes, or which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,
all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese,
and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!
'What the hell could possibly go wrong?'
Silver, I don't know if you know what a bait 'n switch is, but I do know what's in the ACA regarding Medicare Advantage, and how that relates to other parts of bill, and I get the distinct feeling you don't. I also know what Ryan and Romney have proposed, and again, I get the feeling you don't. Am I wrong here?
ReplyDeleteJMJ
Jersey: I know you can't get more while also spending less.
ReplyDeleteYou naive liberals believe in fairy tales.
"Always On Watch said...

You can always tell when people supporting a bad ticket are getting nervous. They claim someone they've never met in person or spoken to, let alone read anything in his personal medical files, claims he's [meaning Biden] mentally ill.
It's interesting to note that this was a favorite gambit of the Russian Communists. When they didn't like what you said about them, they put you in a mental asylum.
Keep it classy AOW. Calling the VP mentally ill? And then you and your host call the liberals nasty?
O the humanity!
BTW, I understand someone on another blog has called into question your mental acuity. Just yesterday I read about it.
Not nice at all.
Really scurrilous thing to do.
Biden’s racial gaff has liberals proclaiming, “Well … but contextually he was correct.”
ReplyDeleteRepublicans are going to put black Americans in chains? Hell, we’re the party who removed the chains. And you know what? I’m not going to defend corporate America. We have companies that are so poorly run that they SHOULD fail. But no, idiots in Washington wanted to bail them out … for the good of the country. How has such a massive expenditure on failed enterprises helped America?
At the center of this? Yep, Barack Obama and Joe Biden. What a team.
Mustang said...
ReplyDeleteBiden’s racial gaff has liberals proclaiming, “Well … but contextually he was correct.
Totally agree Mustang, A total and complete buffoon team your typical liberal's at work.
But don't forget that Mr. Hope and Change has plenty of time to replace Mr. Idiot, his latest gaffes may have been the nail in his political coffin
If middle class America knew they were paying about 65% or more of their income to support federal, state and local governments, they would never vote for a Democrat again.

ReplyDeleteAOW, You are right, Biden does have brain damage, Biden is a fool. . He is not morally qualified to be the Vice President. But then again, neither is his boss.
ReplyDeleteI just can't wait for the Ryan-Biden debates, it's going to be like Albert Einstein discussing physics with the Rainman.
Sarah Palin suggested that President Barack Obama needs to drop Vice President Joe Biden from the 2012 ticket and add Hillary Clinton as the VP candidate. That's Nuts! When your enemy is going down for the third time, you don't jump in and save them, nor do you throw them a lifesaver. You let you enemy sink! PalinBiden
ReplyDeleteAdding Hillary Clinton to the ticket would energize many Democrats, give a boost to their numbers. This might be enough of a boost to beat Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. Why on earth would Palin suggest this?
Palin:Said: "If that's not the nail in the coffin, really, the strategists there in the Obama campaign have got to look at a diplomatic way of replacing Joe Biden on the ticket with Hillary. And I don't want to throw out that suggestion and have them actually accept the suggestion because then an Obama-Hillary Clinton ticket would have a darn good chance of winning."
@"Angry and shouty" to a partisan who is opposed the team--
ReplyDeleteFrom a liberal who's definition of teamwork is abject subjugation.
Team, yeah right.
Shaw: Before issuing more puerile insults and comparisons to communist government official against AOW, please go read her original blog post:
ReplyDeletehttp://alwaysonwatch3.blogspot.com/2011/10/joe-bidens-brain-confabulating-joe.html
AOW's considered opinion has nothing to do with "getting nervous." You sure enjoy imputing motives to others, don't you?
@ Shaw who said... "You can always tell when people supporting a bad ticket are getting nervous."
ReplyDeleteThat must be why the left has its collective undies in a twist over the Obama/(Dufus) Biden ticket.
And talk about salt in the wound, Artur Davis defecting from the flock really put an exclamation point on the sad extreme leftward shift team Obama has made. Even a former supporter and 2008 campaign co-chair for Obama sees the light!
I enjoyed Speaker Boner's recent assessment of Ryan(R - Galt's Gulch)
ReplyDeleteBOEHNER: I mean, I think that he's a practical conservative. He's got a very conservative voting record, but he's not a knuckle-dragger, all right?
Well John, we'll see. Now back to your drinking,
Did anyone hear Ryan in Iowa when he said "Hello Iowa,or as Joe Biden would say "Hello Nevada"
ReplyDeleteObama has been using hate speech since he was comfortable enough in front of his tele-prompter when the real Obama came out. Calling Republicans Flat Earthers,If they bring a knife to the fight you bring a gun. And using the SOTU address to demonize the supreme court. He would like nothing more than to eliminate the congress and the supreme court and be a one man government.
"Anybody else noticing how angry and shouty Obama and Biden have become?"
ReplyDeleteNot surprising in the least. It always tends to go that way when liberals know they're losing the argument.
We see it right here all the time.
Hilarious that HuffPo decided that Obama's "cuts" weren't cuts, but claim Ryan's plan of slower increase IS a cut. I should get used to the liberal hypocrisy or they will drive me crazy.
ReplyDeleteAngry liberals, what else is new? I say let them continue in their temper tantrums and making asses of themselves, this way the public will finally get a glimpse of who they really are.
ReplyDeleteBiden, good grief! What a joke!
"every court needs a GESTURE, too".
ReplyDeleteThe one I'd give Biden's court isn't polite :-)
BY the way, a woman came into my high school from the California voting commission or something...they're trying to get kids to get other kids to register to vote.
I suppose it's like ROCK THE VOTE which posed as a group interested in "all kids voting".. (as if)
they give a kid $125 for participating...an extremely official pamphlet was left behind and a cup with 'American' goodies like red/white/blue pens, etc.
I wanted to say "Ya, and you want Republican kids to vote, too, RIGHT!?" :-)
Chateau Robert,
ReplyDeleteYes, Biden is a fool.
But his gray matter problems are also organic. Literally. I've seen stroke victims and have seen similar behaviors from them.
Z,
ReplyDeletethey give a kid $125 for participating
You're kidding, right?
Silverfiddle,
ReplyDeleteThank you for responding to Shaw regarding my statement about Biden's brain damage. I was tied up so long yesterday with making start-up lesson plans.
Actually, I have some compassion for Biden as I believe that many of his utterings are anatomically related to the aneurysms he suffered.
And you know what? I think that I'll repost that essay that I wrote a while back.
Shaw,
ReplyDeleteI venture to say that I know much more about neurology than you know -- over ever will know.
Neurology has been "my hobby" for over 4 decades.
I wanted to be a neurosurgeon, but my family couldn't afford the expense of the lengthy education required.
And the knowledge I have acquired has been invaluable in teaching -- diagnostic and prescriptive teaching -- and in helping my husband to recover from a brain hemorrhage.
I myself have never met Biden.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I have some friends who have both met him and worked with him on Capitol Hill.
These friends of mine are Republicans, and they LIKE Biden, whom they find personally charming. But they have also commented on how his behavior has changed since those two brain surgeries.
I wouldn't say that Biden is "mentally ill," and clearly he does not belong in a mental institution. However, he is compromised as his brain has suffered two insults -- at least.
AOW diagnosed Joe Biden as a CONFABULATOR.
ReplyDeleteFirst, most dictionaries define "confabulation" simply as "conversation."
Depend on the psychiatric profession to make something diseased and darkly pejorative of it.
In "my" day we'd just call Joe Biden what he is -- a BULLSHIT ARTIST and let it go at that.
Bullshit produces the same stench no matter what you call it.
Second, doesn't everyone who promotes a partisan agenda "confabulate" according to the psychiatric definition of the word?
The best liars have always been those who've been taken in by their own fallacious thinking.
By the way, ARLEN SPECTER is also a survivor not only of a brain aneurysm but of some form of cancer as well.
He too became increasingly irrational towards the end of his political career.
I'm sure that the after-effects of brain surgery and chemotherapy both can have terrible, deleterious effects on the victims of these diseases.
And then here is he case of Democratic senator TIM JOHNSON, who had a stroke shortly after he was elected a few years ago. Typical of their kind the Democrats refused to urge Mr. Johnson to vacate the seat and allow someone with a fully functioning brain and body to take his place. So Senator Johnson's seat was effectively vacant for many many months, but somehow his YEA vote could always be depended upon to bolster the D'Rat Agenda.
BUT when it comes to wishful thinking, all I can say is that if it weren't for wishful thinking politics would cease to exist.
ALSO: I suspect Obama is keeping Biden on the ticket as a form of "LIFE INSURANCE."
I, personally, know any number of people who would love to see the president placed hors de combat. HOWEVER, having Joe Biden step into Obama's shoes should a "tragedy" occur, would dump us out of the frying pan into the fire -- and people KNOW that.
Obama may promote foolish, destructive policies, but he's nobody's fool. The man knows exactly what he's doing -- and so even more do The Oligarchs who jockeyed him into power.
Please don't underestimate the power of Obama. The deck is heavily stacked in his favor.
~ FT
PS: I happened to see Senator Tim Johnson on the floor of the senate on C-Spin the other day.
ReplyDeleteI am happy he survived his stroke, but from what I saw he looks like a man laboring under the burden of severely diminished capacities. OUGHT we to have such people in the senate -- or in ANY positions of influence and authority?
ALSO: Don't forget that BOTOX is now suspected of causing brain damage.
Both Nancy Pelousy AND John "I served-in-Vietnam" Kerry are known to be heavy users of the toxic age-defying chemical.
Wouldn't it show better judgment to have allowed one's face to age thus keeping a fully functioning brain, than to trade the ability to think straight for some dubious cosmetic effects? After all we don't elect FASHION MANNEQUINS to congress -- or do we?
~ FreeThinke
This is chilling. According to Medicare actuary, Richard Foster, under the President's health-care proposal, Medicare reimbursements will actually fall BELOW those of Medicaid and it'll happen within a decade. This could (as has already been the case with Medicaid) lead to a problem of seniors having a difficult time finding primary care physicians and competent specialists (it could also lead, most unfortunately, to a sharp decline in terms of clinical outcomes - again, as has already been the case with Medicaid). Attaway, Mr. Obama.
ReplyDeleteGood, the more irritated and flustered they are the better. When lefties are happy, ordinary people should be worried, very worried.
ReplyDeleteHow are you by the way? Things are starting to quieten down out here, hope to start blogging in a few weeks.
Will,
ReplyDeleteThose who are new to Medicare or who need to find a specialist since January 1, 2012, are already having difficulty getting in to see a doctor! Some of Obamacare's regulations took effect on January 1!
RWT,
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your return to blogging. I miss you!
