They Hate Us More under President Obama

NewsRealBlog

Proof Positive had an excellent blog post this past Monday, making the point that if an obscure YouTube video has inflamed the Muslim world, then President Obama’s incessant bragging about killing Osama bin Laden must really piss them off.

After all, the protesters in Egypt and other countries were chanting “We are all Osama bin Laden!

So, shouldn’t Obama stop mentioning this all the time and stop poking a finger in the eyes of over a billion people who already hate us? How many deaths is he responsible for? Not counting his drone strikes in Pakistan and Yemen? Shouldn’t he discontinue those as well? It doesn’t really comport with his promise that his election would ease Muslim hostility. I’d say he’s thrown gasoline on the fire.
Here’s what happens to American presidents who look to be loved in the Middle East. In 2008, the year Obama won the presidency with his pledge to end George W. Bush’s wars, 75 percent of Egyptians had an unfavorable opinion of the United States. Today it’s 79 percent. Four years ago, that was the percentage of Jordanians with a negative view of the U.S. Now it’s 86 percent. (Niall Ferguson)
If an obscure YouTube video made them mad, just wait until Hollywood's killing bin Laden movie comes out...

More importantly, shouldn’t the president intervene with Hollywood and demand they shelve the film about the killing of bin Laden? If he does not, the perpetual festering boil known as the Muslim world will become even more inflamed, and both the president and Hollywood will have blood on their hands, and by MSNBC standards, that would make them accessories to murder.

  1. Too bad the media has lost all of any integrity it possibly had so that they might had informed the people about who and what they are voting for when they pull the lever for Obama.
Romney tells the truth when he says that almost half the American people receive government hand-outs and pay no income tax and the media makes it sound as if he don't care about almost half the American people.

Obama speaks like a card carrying Commie and it just slides by. It's disgusting.

We've already seen the results of Obama's Presidency and it has been disastrous in every way.

  2. Ducky, does the killing of Americans and the hate for America bore you?

Kut, your logic is perfect. The blood is on Obama's hands.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Feared or Loved? With Obama we got "neither". We're the joke of the ME.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I agree, your logic is solid and makes the press look small.

Between news out of Libya relative to al Qaeda, Jay Carney's daily comments about the video and the sacrifice of Susan Rice last Sunday, the President risks looking out of touch with the truth. Notice that Hilary is far too smart to step any further into the shoes and served up Rice.

  5. I support Mitt Romney's statement. I resent half of the country believing they are entitled to my income. I am tired of supporting those who choose not to work, those who enter this country illegally, and those who fraudulently abuse the support systems, when my family and I have worked hard all our lives to make a better life for ourselves. So let's give him credit for having the guts to tell the truth.

I do not have a problem assisting those who have paid taxes when they fall on hard times. I have no problem assisting senior citizens or those who are disabled. But I do resent those who choose to feel entitled to my hard-earned dollars when they have not contributed to the system that is supporting them and their families. Mitt Romney is not wrong in what he said, although he could have articulated it differently. Unfortunately, President Barack Obama and a vast majority of Democrats lead 47 percent of the American people to believe that only the government can take care of them.

  6. Is it lack of respect or lack of fear that drives the ME to hate the US. Obama has been mocked by several third world leaders because of his lack of leadership in this country and they know they have nothing but rhetoric to fear from him.

He has time for Letterman but no time for Netanyahu or to visit Israel. Why should he since he has the Jewish vote.

He panders to the entertainment millionaires while taxing the middle class but claims to support the middle class and small business. The world knows he is a puppet and has no respect or fear of him.

For those leftists who provide no proof.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nearly 6 million Americans — significantly more than first estimated— will face a tax penalty under President Barack Obama's health overhaul for not getting insurance, congressional analysts said Wednesday. Most would be in the middle class.

  7. Yeah, it all makes sense Silver. To everyone but the ObamaBots that is...

  8. Very good point about the bin Laden film; we may have to shut down every embassy in the Middle East and offer billions more in foreign aid.

AOW linked to a video of a demonstration in Paris where Muslims are chanting, “We are all Osama.” Maybe we ain't seen nuttin yet.

We can criticize Obama for a lot of different things, but he was telling us the truth in 2008: he is making fundamental changes to the United States of America. Whether we can survive all these changes is an entirely different issue.

  9. Well it's time for some realpolitik I think.

Scenario 1: We continue doing what we're doing and keep our current policy over there.

Scenario 2: We do what we should have done 30 years ago: we close down our embassies, recall our embassadors, get all of our troops out of there, and LEAVE THE MIDDLE EAST ALONE. Then, we make it clear to them that if we're attacked by terrorists, we'll find out where the terrorists came from and bomb their countries to hell and back.

And we tell them that we'll hunt down terrorists WHEREVER they are. That does 2 things: one it lets them see what happens when America is no longer there to fight their fights, and 2 unless they want endless cruise missiles up their asses and special forces offing people in the dead of night, they'd do well to better police terrorist cells in their borders.

  10. I think that Jack just summed it quite nicely. Ditto for me.

  11. Addendum:

Lets face it, they don't actually want the entire world to convert to Islam. They all know that will never happen. They also know that they'll never defeat America, or any big non-Muslim country for that matter. They might be crazy, but they're not stupid.

All they want is for us to leave them the hell alone. Do you ever see Muslims plotting terrorist attacks against the Japanese? We also don't see so much going on against Russia, because they know the Russians will wipe every one of them out without compunction.

Why hasn't China been attacked? Or Australia? Or Spain? Why are they not shouting "Death to Poland!"?

They want to be left alone, why not leave them alone?

  12. More bigoted ASSumptions.
The Bible teaches you how to hate, very well.

    ReplyDelete
  13. For the ignorant among us (and they don't know who they are, but we right thinking people do):

Wait, You Still Don't Like Us?

    ReplyDelete
  14. SF: "...his promise that “The day I’m elected Muslim hostility will ease.”

I listened to that tape 3 times. Mr. Obama never said that. He only stated that the Muslim world would understand that because he once lived there, traveled there, and that his sister is from there, that he has knowledge of the Muslim culture.

It was dishonest to put quotes around something he never said. I googled the quoted statement and there is nothing that connects Mr. Obama to it.

You think Mr. Obama should censor Hollywood film makers?

I thought "Muslims hated us for our freedoms." At least that's excuse that was promoted during the Bush administration after 9/11.

So if President Obama interferes with the film makers' freedom of speech, will the Muslim world then love us for our anti-freedoms?

    ReplyDelete
  15. In other words, Obama only promised in his "answer" to the caller that he would "repair our negative image in the world." (caller's words).

    FAIL!

So how many broken promises did Obama make in '08? Perhaps the easier answer would be... how many promises did he keep?

    ZIP.

  16. Ah, yes ... another demonstration of logic, by Shaw. So let’s see … the government can take into custody the oaf who made a video that was offensive to Moslems, but we must not question all those in the federal government who helped facilitate Bigelow’s film. Oh wait, I see now: another example of the leftist double standard at work.

    ReplyDelete
  17. No double standard on my part, Whyte. It's your ignorance of what the facts are:

    "TIMELINE: 'Innocence of Muslims' unrest

: Whitmore told The LA Times that Nakoula was taken in for a voluntary interview with probation officials and has not been arrested or detained.]

Nakoula is believed to use the alias Sam Bacile, which was the name a caller who took credit for the film gave to the AP and the Wall Street Journal.

On Friday, U.S. courts spokeswoman Karen Redmond said the Office of Probation in the Central District of California was reviewing whether Nakoula, who has been convicted on bank fraud charges, violated terms of his probation in relation to the video and its uploading onto the Internet.

He had been ordered not to own or use devices with access to the Internet without approval from his probation officer -– and any approved computers were to be used for work only. "Defendant shall not access a computer for any other purpose," the terms read.

Restrictions were also placed on him enlisting others to get on the Internet for him.

There's no equivalence between a person who committed fraud and broke the terms of his probation being questioned and Hollywood film makers making the film SF refers to.

  19. Every police state needs apologists, you just don't expect "liberals" to fill the role.

I've removed the quotes around the statement in question. It was an editorial oversight, but the larger point still stands. We elected a man names Barack Hussein who understands Islam and has lived in Indonesia, but it only made things worse. Any old white guy could have done this much damage.

  20. FJ,

Grats, you proved me wrong on one country on my list.

  21. How far down does this country have to go down before you Liberals stop drinking the Kool-aide? This inept little man that has no idea about leading this Great Nation. Obama feeds you a “crap sandwich, and you swallow it with a smile.

  22. Obviously they hated us more under your president Bush, remember 9/11?
Oh that's right according to Jeb Bush and other delusional Republiscums, his brother kept us safe, remember 9/11?
Amazing how much hate filled, lying shit you can come up with everyday. Never underestimate to power of (your) hate.

  23. I know you aren’t expecting a reply to your question, Donna – but the answer is, for as long as we have nitwits like Shaw, Steve, Jersey, Liberalmann, and Ducky lining up to help usher in a Utopian society.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Steve,

I'm sure you forgot that the US intelligence agencies were decimated under Clinton which contributed to the WTC attack. Not all his fault but he is culpable.

    Donna,
BHO is not inept, he knows exactly what he is doing. Redistribute money form the working class to the non working class. Fundamentally change America to conform to a government dependent nation.
His goal is to have two classes and that is the elite like the hollywood entertainment crowd and limousine liberals like Shaw. He is attacking the middle class with higher taxes and more government dependency.

He's a rock star after all

  25. Now the idiots want to blame Clinton for 9/11

This may make you feel good, Whyte, but it won't change where the election is heading.

Those who back a losing argument always resort to name-calling.

Good luck in the school yard, Jackie, yelling Poopyhead! at everyone you can't actually beat up.

Silverfiddle, how can conservative extremists keep insisting President Obama is a secret Muslim if the Muslims dislike him so much?

To be consistent, I should think you and your fellow travelers would welcome the Muslims' hatred.

You and the others seem, like Mr. Romney, to be all over the place on this.

Should I have wasted more of my time proving you wrong on all of them? There's a lot goes on in the world outside of what the MSM feeds you. I know that the Chinese have had issues with Mulsim extremists...

  29. Thersites, old man! How interesting to see you here! How's that spamming in my comments section every week going? Still getting off on it?

How terribly tragic your musty, dank, and lonely life must be that you need to get gratification by depositing your feckless comments on my blog day after day.

Does it make your very small "ego" feel big and manly?

Sorry, SF, to be off topic, but your frequent commenter is the internet's equivalent of a flasher who needs to get women to look at his "equipment."

We just point and laugh at it.

  30. are you still in moderation p*Shaw, fearing every comment that MiniTRU. hasn't approved?

  31. Pointing and laughting at Thersites, the spammer.

    [Apologies to SF]

  32. Therisites, prove me wrong on all of them. Go right ahead. It would be a complete waste of your time, because you've CLEARLY missed my point.

The Muslims aren't saying "DOWN WITH CHINA!"

What are they saying? Down with America. Why? Because they want us out.

So lets get out. But by all means, please continue to argue against minor details.

    ReplyDelete
  33. And who was president during the first WTC attack?

    Damn, there goes that theory!

    ReplyDelete
  34. @This may make you feel good, Whyte, but it won't change where the election is heading.

Latest Gallup has it at 47-47...

so exactly where do you think it's going?

SF: on the subject of media bias... you should watch the Univision Interview... apparently his toughest one yet.

    ReplyDelete
  35. America has decided who is biased and full of shit, that's why FOX just lost first place. Taken over by MSNBC.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Shaw: I have never trafficked in the "Obama is a closet Muslim" meme, so go peddle that crap somewhere else.

Jack: China has seen Muslim extremist violence, as has Russia, but I understand the point you're making.

They only try to tackle the man with the ball. If we were running for touchdowns, I wouldn't be so unhappy, but we've got the ball and we just aimlessly meander around the field, handing the ball to the opposition periodically for no apparent reason.

I am for maintaining embassies, but otherwise staying out of the way as the stinking goat-f***ers practice their depredations upon one another.

    ReplyDelete
  37. And another thing, Shaw. Thersites always comports himself well here, providing wise and apropos commentary.

So it must be something about your blog...

    ReplyDelete
  38. SF "It was an editorial oversight, but the larger point still stands."

But it's easier to complain about quotes and "he didn't say exactly that"...an attitude that's helped us get into this mess in the first place. WAKE UP, people...we have an awful problem and, whether Obama said it or not, and whether the WHite House sent Ambassador Rice out to lie so we'd think it was the video and not 9/11, doesn't really matter...

Steve..wake up. Yes, it was safer; 30 countries are now burning the flag and some have killed Americans where we did such a good job and they're supposed to LIKE US :-)
the naivitee of the left *(I don't have an accent on my keyboard) is stifling.

By the way, the left can't find anything wrong about Ann Romney (except she wears clothes almost as pricey as Michelle Obama) so today's Yahoo headline is "Ann Romney...to much of a good thing?"

Yup...too good. There's a slam that makes sense for a lovely Republican woman. They FOUND A NEGATIVE! GOOD JOB, LEFTIES!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Silver: "Thersites always comports himself well here, providing wise and apropos commentary."

That's untrue, Thersites is the same person as FJ and SpeedyG (among others). He frequently trolls on your pages, even you once had to ask him to leave.

He is now beneath my notice, and I suggest others do the same. It's a pity, because he is capable of insight.

    ReplyDelete
  40. He really inspired me that day...

But Speedy has never been back. I know you and he have gone round and round, but the character of his comments here are vastly different that at Shaw's place, so again, it must be something about her blog that brings it out.

Shaw loves red herrings, talking about other blogs' commenters, anything to divert the thread when she can't defend her messiah. This time she picked FJ.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I suggest holding Speedy's "schizophrenic legion" responsible for its/their own actions. From the looks of things Shaw already has enough to answer for without burdening her with the sins of (an)other(s).

  42. @ Jack

They aren't saying "Down with China!"???

    Who knew?

All these terrorist's hating and protesting against America inside China... and it doesn't even make the 6 o'clock news., here...

  43. Yes Jez, but she burdens me with the "sins" of people who happen to comment here. She regularly carps at her blog about something or other someone says here, as if I can control what other people think and say.

I'm not in the business of scolding people into only making politically correct statements. That's the progressives' Orwellian game.

I've only recently taken to deleting comments, simply because their vile and vulgar nature and inflammatory accusations against others detract from the thread.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Now that Mitt Romney has released his taxes and his accountant has certified that contrary to Harry Reid's assertions, that Romney HAS paid taxes all these years, do you think that there's any chance that pShaw will APOLOGIZE for repeating Harry Reids false assertions against Romney and RETRACT them? Not a chance.

  45. Progressives never apologize (unless its to our enemies) and they never admit mistakes or acknowledge the damage their policies do, they just move on to the next disaster.

  46. Oh he'll squawk and whore himself out when someone else makes a movie and it's convenient for him to hang them out to swing in the wind. But he wouldn't give 2 shits about anyone wailing about his movie.

And knowing the media whores that follow him around, they would back him all the way too. obama is beyond criticism, something he knows well and will abuse to the very end.

Mind you, if the movie sticks in the arab streets craw, that's not a bad thing in my view, those primates need to get over themselves.
