Something to do this Weekend

If You're Bored.

A Chicago couple managed to get a quality, durable floor for about a thousand dollars.  Six hundred dollars in pennies and about four hundred dollars in other materials.  Well, an estimated 59,670 pennies now covers their floor, grouted in place and covered in a glossy clear coat.  Not sure what the Treasury thinks about it, but it certainly gives a whole new meaning to the term "Penny Tile".

$3 a Square Foot

Is not a bad price for flooring.  A little research indicated that this is not as uncommon as you may think, and I found many other cases of people using money to tile their floor.  All in all, I think it doesn't look that bad.
