I stumbled across the bearded gent and minor footnote to history above simply because he was a representative from Virginia's 7th District, Eric Cantor's district.
Meet the Honorable Nathaniel Claiborne in office from March 4, 1825 to March 3, 1837 as both a Jacksonian and Anti-Jacksonian.
