Burger King announces $11.4 billion dollar purchase of Tim Horton's and its move and reincorporation in Canada.
Why?
The nominal corporate tax rate in the US (totaling national, state, and city taxes) is 39.1%, the highest of all OECD nations. By comparison, France, which you've been hearing so much about lately vis a vis tax refugees, is 34.4%. Canada in comparison is only 26.3%. Washington Post
