Delusional Democrats

Jack Camwell over at Christian Fearing God Man wrote a succinct and on-target post about how delusional Democrats are, even in the face of so many electoral losses.

It's all been downhill since the coronation of the ObaMessiah and the ensuing two-year liberal bacchanalia.  The Hopium hangover is hard to shake...

Anyway, Jack wrote this great post about how the democrat party obstinately refuses to recognize the will of the people, even in the aftermath of the momentous 2010 electoral pimp slap the American people administered to them. The subsequent special election losing streak is just the icing on the cake...
I'm sure they'll say that this is all meaningless, that the American people still believe in whatever horseshit the Democrats have been shovelling.
As if on cue, raving liberal Jersey McJones stepped in with a foul-mouthed rant blaming all of our problems on... wait for it... George Bush and the Republicans! He sums up his vulgar and vapid missive with that great old standard from the liberal hymnal... "... the American people are so f#&%ing stupid..."

That's right.  We're too stupid to see the brilliance of progressive statist programs that have flushed this country down the toilet...

My Advice to Jersey and other Democrats

Yes, by all means, write Obama and tell him to keep it up! Tell him and the democrats in congress to double down! triple down! Quadruple down! Demand that the next stimulus be ten trillion! Let a thousand Solyndras bloom!

Bearded crapweasel Paul Krugman can be the finance czar overseeing Obama's Great Depression II.  Kick off the 2012 campaign by telling ordinary Americans they are too stupid to understand the brilliance of Obama and the Pelosicrats. Call us all stingy and hateful and continue to demand we "pay our fair share" so they can "spread it around."

Tell the Obama administration to not only continue screwing Boeing and the thousands of South Carolinians deprived of a job, but demand Obama close down every non-union business that has more than one employee.

Explain to us again how borrowing and spending more money so Obama can reward his friends and punish his enemies is a brilliant idea.

Hell, I'd contribute money to that Democrat campaign.

They used that strategy in 2010 and look how far it got them.

David Weprin used the 'Tea Party' approach against Bob Turner and look how far it got them.

Obama plans on using the blame the Republican House for the high unemployment for the last 3 years if "His" jobs plan is not passed.
I think the American people know who really are the "so fu*king stupid" folks

Thanks for the bump, Silver. Not entirely sure why you thought I wouldn't agree with where this article went. Is it perhaps because you have more faith in the overall intelligence of the American population.

I do find something a bit funny though. Jersey would have to believe that Americans are only stupid every few years. Americans were brilliant for electing Obama and the Dems, but stupid for putting them out when they failed to deliver?

We were not stupid in 2008, but now we are stupid in 2011? I can call everyone who doesn't agree with me stupid, too, but that's not very meaningful.

The bloom appears to be off the Rose. Either way, we had a very good week. Looking forward to more flailing about. Another Rose Garden appearance today, should about top it off.

Do you visit terra firma often enough to understand how much he is disliked on the left?

This guy is right center and is merely an extension of Bush with a little less homo hating than the vulgar protestant religionists can tolerate. Nothing else.

We are a sorry people in serious decline. Pathetic victims of comfort who have nothing left but a military which thinks it can fight an insurgency.

Double down what? The extension of economic policy started by Reagan, built by Clintoon and brought to its stunning conclusion by Chucklenuts?

Buy a vowel. We are a sorry, manipulated people who are just running scared.

Give us a lecture on how the religious freaks are going to bring freedom and democracy to the world. Open your damn eyes.

Of course tyrants such as Obama refuse to acknowledge that their people are unhappy with them: 'let them eat cake,' or some similar sentiment is uttered by the tyrant.

Tyrants usurp all assets and resources of their nation, use it as they deem best (since their subjects are far too stupid to understand what's best for them, you see), and yet seem oblivious to the resentment that builds against them over time.

Like Mohamar Qadafi: 'my people love me', he defiantly decreed as he cowered in his bomb proof compound, which was overrun within weeks by those same 'loving' subjects.

Recall 'Baghdad Bob' denying that American tanks were rolling into Baghdad, deliriously claiming that the 'brave and fierce Republican Guard has routed the invaders and their livers will roast in hell,' or words to that effect, all the while the whine of M1A1 tank diesel turbochargers could be clearly heard in the background of the studio.

And inevitably, the evil regime fell within hours of Brave Baghdad Bob's spewings of victory. And this regime of Obama's will tumble as well.

And no raving and ranting by moonbat liberals will change any of that in the coming year. Try as they might....

Poor ducky. The problem isn't that Obama and the Democrats are extremists... it's that they aren't "extreme enough" to suit the Left.

Saying that Obama was the smartest man in the room doesn't say much for the others in that room, does it? I'm not sure I would call delusional. They are running scared and trying to save face while try to think up new ways to shift the blame to the Republicans and the free market capitalist for all of their fail. They will convince those that are truly stupid.

No, but it does make a good excuse for not contradicting the token black man in the room and neatly avoids a false "racism" accusation.

The Republicans have contributed to the massive delusional problem that plagues the Democrats, by their silence.

Why haven't the Republicans done any thing as Obama over-stepped his constitutional bounds by by-passing Congress and pushing through laws, rules and regulations by Executive Order? Why have the Congressional Republicans refused to do anything about all of the allegations that Obama is ineligible to hold office, in-spite of all the evidence in support of those charges? Why have the Republicans remained silent about Obama, who as a member of the Senate, along with Sen. Chris Dodd (D) helped cause the housing bubble burst that led to the financial crisis that has followed? Why have the Congressional Republicans remained silent about Obama's fraudulent Birth Certificate and his fraudulent use of a Social Security number?

Either the GOP fears Obama or they are complicit in Obama's destruction of the United States.

I read a bit of the blog and JMJ's comments and good grief! The language! I am not a "pris" but that was a bit much.

I have yet, and probably never will, comprehend how Obama believes spending MORE money is going to rebuild the economy? And raising taxes, ummmm...no.

Jersey McJones said...

Silver,

Sometimes I have no idea with whom you're arguing.

Liberals do not want more borrowing. The borrowing binge, for the past 30 years, has been a GOP prerogative. It was the only way they could cut taxes while maintaining the MIC and the rest of the corporate welfare state.

There is an option to borrowing, though, and that is raising taxes.

It is not "progressive statist" to raise taxes a little once in a while.

Really, what has been pissing me off lately with you guys is the insistance that taxes can simply never go up for anything! Ever!

What planet of the dellusional apes do you live on?

There's a time to lower taxes and a time to raise them. There's a time for everything under the sun.

No one is advocating going back to the 91-friggin-percent top bracket! We're talking a few, maybe up to 6, point top bracket increase. We're talking about closing some obviously corrupting loopholes. We're talking about taxed unearned income at least as much as the earned.

This isn't progressive statism. This is PAYING THE FUCKING BILLS.

WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU, MAN???

I respect your libertarian and conservative principles, but at what point do you realize that we have to pay our bills, we have the money to it, and there's no need to pile all our political baggage on our children?

No tell him to fight two wars without raising taxes and then funding them off the budget.

Then when the bill comes due have some Rethug shit stain start whining some crap about class warfare.

Really, save it for the evangelicals and meth heads that make up the Bagger base Silverfiddle. You get a lot of nastiness here because intelligent people just get tired of these word games you play in your little political sandbox.

Hard to figure out why you don't prefer discussion. You seem like a principled, intelligent guy.

Bearded crapweasel? Well, the guy's got a Noble prize. May be that he's at least worth listening to. I've been able to accept Hayek's argument for a market economy in consumer goods to manage demand and pricing. You however have fallen into the trap of a true believer and I wonder if that's a religious phenomenon. I know it is with people like z but you just seem more intelligent.

Silverfiddle said...

The guy's got a nobel prize? So what. So does Al Gore, Barack Obama and Yasser Arafat...

What Krugman preaches is demonstrably false based upon actual historical data.

Tim Cavanaugh cites sources that show we are where the Keynesians wanted us when they hatched their schemes two years ago, but guess what? The economy has not improved, proving once again the folly of this failed dogma. So now they crank up the blather about liquidity traps to cover the fact that the financial emperors have no clothes.

Fair Share:

47% pay no taxes yet only 15.1% live in poverty

Go figure.

Polls:

If I gave you 100,000 dollars with the caveat you were not allowed to spend any of it for 40 years. Would you randomly poll 1,000 of your fellow citizens to figure out what to do with the money?

I thought not.

2012 Election:

My greatest fear would be that he opts out and doesn't run.

Do you really want to see a Perry/Romney vs Hilary race?

Taxes: Here is a fair tax structure. Establish a base tax rate adjusted by control of congress.

So if Democrats control 70% of congress, they pay 70% of the taxes, and vice versa.

I guarantee you our elected representatives would then manage to get control of expenditures or would be voted out of office.

A 30 billion dollar pork project wouldn't be too apealling if you stuck your constituents with the bill. Now would it?

Cheers!

A little?
Here is a fine example of a little..

$10,001 $20,001 $60,001 $100,001 $250,001
1916 2% 3% 5% 7% 10%
1918 16% 21% 41% 64% 72%

>The wealthy should pay their fair share.

In general, they already pay far more than their "fair share." Their "fair share" is exactly the same as everybody else. Making better decisions, working harder, and being more successful don't increase one's "fair share." Why do you hate successful people? Why are you always trying to tear them down and make their lives suck as much as yours? Why are you so envious and greedy for other people's property? Why do you lust for power so much that you can't stand for other people to be free? Stop being so greedy and petty and insecure. Stop bothering people. Let people live their lives. Get off their backs. Get a hobby or something and stop meddling like an old lady, or a stalker.

Buddy you need a whole new alphabet

Fair Share; translation - Greater Share.

"The 47 percent number is not wrong. The stimulus programs of the last two years — the first one signed by President George W. Bush, the second and larger one by President Obama — have increased the number of households that receive enough of a tax credit to wipe out their federal income tax liability."

Focusing on the statistical middle class — the middle 20 percent of households, as ranked by income — underlines this point.

Taking into account both taxes and tax credits, the average household in this group paid a total income tax rate of just 3 percent. A good number of people, in fact, paid no net income taxes. They are among the alleged free riders.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/14/business/economy/14leonhardt.html

Mind you, I'm not saying the wealthy are unfairly burdened...

What I am saying is too many people are getting a free ride.

The tax code in this country is totally screwed and used to buy votes and reward supporters (think GE).

How about this proposition... everyone pays no taxes on income up to the poverty line, over that everybody pays the same rate on all income.

No deductions except for the standard deduction for dependents, which would serve to adjust the poverty line by family size.

Sound fair?

What should the rate be?

5%, 10%, 15%, 20%?

Lets say 10%... the guy who makes $20,000 pays nothing.

The guy who makes $50,000 pays $5,000

The guy who makes $100,000 pays $10,000

The guy who makes $1,000,000 pays $100,000.

That is a fair tax structure... anything else is theft.

You can't legally discriminate against me if I'm handicapped, why should you be able to discriminate against me if I am successful?

The planet where economic problems are dealt with by adults. Where the adults cut spending. Where the adults eliminate excessive drags on the family income.

Evidently, on your planet, the kids need a new bike every 3 months so, Dad has to get a third and a fourth job.

Guess what? Dad has no more hours left in the day to work any additional jobs and Mom spends every waking hour driving the inconsiderate, entitled brats around to anything their hearts desire.

On average, the wealthiest people in America pay a lot more taxes than the middle class or the poor, according to private and government data. They pay at a higher rate, and as a group, they contribute a much larger share of the overall taxes collected by the federal government.
The 10% of households with the highest incomes pay more than half of all federal taxes. They pay more than 70% of federal income taxes, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

...

This year, households making more than $1 million will pay an average 29.1% of their income in federal taxes, including income taxes, payroll taxes and other taxes, according to the Tax Policy Center, a Washington think tank.

Households making between $50,000 and $75,000 will pay an average of 15% of their income in federal taxes.

Lower-income households will pay less. For example, households making between $40,000 and $50,000 will pay an average of 12.5% of their income in federal taxes. Households making between $20,000 and $30,000 will pay 5.7%.
