Dead Voters, Brain-Dead Government

Obama’s Party and Legal Plenipotentiary Heinrich Holder, cornered and in a defensive crouch, is an embarrassment to himself, his Department of inJustice, and the Imperial President who appointed him. Do the forces of good finally have him cornered? The party apparatchiks are circling the wagons, so he probably will survive.
Next Wednesday, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, headed by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), will decide whether to move a long-threatened contempt citation forward to the full House.
The smoking gun was the discovery earlier this month of wiretap applications that made it clear that senior Justice officials — including Assistant AG Lanny Breuer and others — were not only in the loop on F&F, but had approved its tactics.
And done so over the vehement objections of agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, who were tasked with the operation.  (Holder’s Last Days?)
Minister of Just Us

Holder’s most important mandate has been to advance the cause of Obama’s Democrat Socialist Party at all costs…
The AG is also involved in two controversial lawsuits, one against Arizona’s immigration-enforcement policies, the other against Florida’s attempt to purge felons, foreigners and the deceased from its voter rolls. In each case, Justice’s position plainly has more to do with firing up the Democratic base than with upholding the law. (Holder’s Last Days?)
Florida is Firing Back
The state of Florida is taking its controversial push to purge the state's voter rolls of ineligible voters to the next level with a suit against the Department of Homeland Security filed by Secretary of State Ken Detzner on Monday.
The suit accuses DHS of failing to provide the state with access to the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program database to verify the citizenship of suspected illegal immigrants on Florida’s voter rolls. Florida has been working off of its Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Department information over the past year to purge its voter rolls of suspected illegal immigrants, but the data can be out of date or incorrect. (Florida Sues DHS)

Why are they purging the roles? 53,000 Dead Voters Found in Florida
Only a vote fraud loving liberal would consider it “controversial” to clean a state’s voter rolls of illegal aliens, convicted felons and dead people.

RNLA lists instances of voter fraud in 46 states, but even one case is one too many. Every illegal vote disenfranchises a legal voter, and the franchise is the only power we hold over our governments at all levels.

Since voter fraud is .0028% of votes cast pushing voter ID laws is a non issue you Republicans are trying to make an issue because you have nothing else to offer.Childish, yet expected from those dodging true issues.

Wow, did you see the size of that fraud list?
More proof of the Republican bed wetting hysteria we've been pointing out.

Wow, it's So good to know that out of a typical 100 million votes cast in a general election that there were only 2,800 fraudulent ballots cast.

I guess Richard Daley's dog only casts one vote now instead of his typical 50-60K per Chicago voting precinct...

You'll find that the percentage you quote is VERY high when one looks at it's effect on the local level.

In races on the local level where battles are often fought district by district, races can be won or lost by a handful of votes.

Do you REALLY think that Florida is doing this just because of the presidential race?

If it is really a non-issue as you say, why then is it such an issue with the justice department?

Not to worry. The servers that are keeping control of the count of our votes resides in Spain. I am sure we will have the correct victory .

Imagine a DoJ which blocks purging voter lists of ineligible voters?
Wait, and the left says this reflects badly on those trying to only have LEGAL VOTERS VOTING IN THE STATE? ?? what?

Jersey McJones said...

Are you really stilling waxing paranoid over this, Silver?

Of course they found "dead voters!" This is Florida, for Christ's sake! This is WHERE people go to DIE.

That means NOTHING in regards to your mythical "voter fraud." It in no way means anyone was planning on pretending to be a deceased voter and voting in their name!

God, what specious and spurious logic.

Anything to prove you're not ever wrong about anything ever, huh Silver?

Right, because of spam. It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that you cannot argue with the truth? You are afraid of the truth.
"Dead voters"
Like you who will vote for Romney, even though you have no clue what he will do. Yes, you are one of the dead voters.

Anonymouse: You're not the spammer, but other anon's are. The easy way to stop it is to not accept comments from anonymice. I'm giving you a heads-up.

Can't argue with the truth? Don't flatter yourself.

Jersey: The documented cases appear statistically irrelevant in the aggregate, but it becomes more significant at the precinct and even congressional district level, as Scotty points out.

I cannot understand the liberal objection to voter ID laws. I can only conclude, based upon US history, that democrats like to use the lack of voter ID requirements to steal elections. See Crook County, Chicago 1960.

----------------
There were six reported cases in all of New England. Now even assuming it was all Democratic fraud which I'm sure you are willing to do, would you like to point out any freaking elections those six cases could effect even if the aggregate were in one state?

Please Silver and Scotty, remember that the left is here t help you live the life of the mind.

Duh yeah, but these aren't the voters they're really trying to purge. We all know this.

Lib-Mann: "Duh yeah, but these aren't the voters they're really trying to purge. We all know this."

Correct. They're removing anyone who doesn't meet the following criteria.

Be a Citizen of the United States of America (a lawful permanent resident is not a U.S. citizen);

Be a Florida resident;

Be 18 years old (you may pre-register to vote if you are 16 years old, but you cannot vote until you are 18 years old).

Not now be adjudicated mentally incapacitated with respect to voting in Florida or any other state without having the right to vote restored;

Not have been convicted of a felony without your civil rights having been restored;

http://election.dos.state.fl.us/voter-registration/voter-reg.shtml

So what's the problem?

Next time the opposing party, which personally I hope is the Tea Party republicans, get into sufficient power, they had better get some firm legislation down regards eligible voters.

Libtards would not get voted in federally if it were not for the corruption of the voting. Locally yes, but federally no.

Ducky's here said...

Here's the problem vibrunum. The fringe right is pissing it's pants over a voter fraud issue that doesn't exist.
You've got Breitbart toady (DO IT FOR BREITBART ! that's what we've come to) O'Keefe with his Operation Veritas going absolutely nowhere.

All ginned up to get the diaper pissers going and get The Ladies Who Lunch clutching their pearls. Nothing.

But when Florida purges from an DMV LIST the fringe right bed wetters assume legitimate voters are being purged? Bore me the fuck later.

Trekkie4Ever said...

You sure opened up a can of worms, Silver.

It seems the Left aren't capable of computing the truth about the voter fraud and how Florida is trying to combat it.

Holder is a joke and a travesty and quite frankly, needs to be fired.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for proper ID when registering or voting at the polls.

I had to show proof with my ID and it's not big deal.

Silverfiddle said...

Leticia: The loony left is a joke. Gotta show an ID to buy a pack of smokes or a bottle of hooch, but not to vote.

@would you like to point out any freaking elections those six cases could effect even if the aggregate were in one state?

YOU PEOPLE ARE FREAKING MORONS!!!!

BUSH-GORE 2000

BUSH 2,912,790
GORE 2,912,253

A DIFFERENCE OF... 537 votes.

But out of a total of 5105043 votes cast with a .0028 fraud rate the total number of fraudulent votes would be 143.

That is 27% of the difference between the winner and the loser.

Given the circus surrounding the 2000 election, where the race came down to the electoral college votes of one state, you don't think 143 votes could make a difference?

.0105% fraud could have made the difference in the 2000 election.

The other problem in voter fraud is you only know of the cases you catch. It's like trying to figure out how many people smoke pot alone in their own homes but don't tell anyone? It's not like those comitting voter fraud are coming forward afterwards laughing about it and posting it on their blogs.

So you are either fools, or cheaters... which is it?

Cheers!

Finntann said...

@False equivalence, Silverfiddle?

How is it a false equivalence? We require ID for things far less important than deciding the leader of the free world.

Seriously though... you don't think I could get 1000 illegal votes cast in Florida with a budget of say 10 million? Chump change in a national election. The problem is knowing where to put them and finding 1000 people who can keep their mouths shut, which is why I am not a conspiracist.

Cheers!

Ducky: "The fringe right is pissing it's pants over a voter fraud issue that doesn't exist."

If that's the case, what possible objection can there be to purging the files of outdated records? That's a standard clerical procedure that happens in every business and household in the country. Seems to me the twist in the knickers of the left over this is a bit out of scale.

Ducky's here said...

Fintann, the votes wouldn't have mattered in Florida if it weren't for the jury rigged system called the Electoral College that came to us thanks to the genius of the Founding Mediocrities.

It's a system that allows a population in Republican farming states with a combined population less than New York City to control over a quarter of the Senate.

One man - one vote? Please bore me later with that horseshit.

Florida and Ohio, swing states of critical importance due to the asinine electoral college and where did the right wing diaper pissers carry out their voter suppression in 200 and 2004?

Don't suppose that suppression isn't a larger problem than voter fraud.

Will "take no prisoners" Hart said...

American University did a study and it showed that 89.8% of the registered voters in states that had a voter ID law already had a pictured ID. That's not exactly repression, in my opinion.

viburnum said...

@ Ducky

The entire rationale behind the electoral college, and the Senate, was to insure, in a Federal Union, that the small states weren't overshadowed and rendered impotent by the larger. It's not enough to be the President of California, New York, and Texas, he has to be President of Delaware, Rhode Island, and Wyoming as well.

Which is why it's highly unlikely you'll ever see an amendment passed electing the President by popular vote. Even after all the uproar in 2000 no serious effort has been mounted to do away with the electoral college. That would be asking the smaller states to commit political suicide by rendering themselves irrelevant to the process.

Historically yes, but today? It's nonsense.

The Hispanic vote cares about the real life, every day, work a day world we all live in. It makes no sense for these people to act against their own interest or commit crime worth far less than the time.

So holder knew all about F&F and still nothing is done. Good grief, what does he have to do for the empty suit to feel some shame and disgust and send the fellow packing.

And I hope Florida purges its rolls of the dead voters, obama is sure to lose in a landslide then.
