You Can't Make This Stuff Up...

Fellow Right Blogistanis:  I'm off the grid over the Triduum (it's a religious thing.)  I'll be back and blogging next Monday.

Here is a little news wrap-up...

We on the right can be forgiven a schadefreude-induced chortle as we read this headline…

California Begs Texas for Job-Creating Recipe

The pointy headed statists who blew up the state of California playing with their liberal chemistry set are now visiting Texas to ask the conservative cowboys for help.  It's not a joke.  California has sent a delegation to find out what Texas is doing to create more jobs per capita than any other state in the nation.  There may yet be hope for the sunshine state.

I Saw this headline…

Michelle Obama: I Want to Embrace the Country that I Love

The news article didn't say what country she was talking about…

4 out of 5 Mass Murderers Support Green Energy

And surprise, surprise! The Nissan Leaf is experiencing technical glitches. The recall will be small, since almost no one has bought the damned things. Seems only a few thousand suckers could be found who were willing to shell out $45000 for a rolling science experiment.

Government Motors sold a paltry 281 Chevy Volts in February. Were it not for Obama-approved Government Electric stepping up to buy the US version of the old East German Trabant, the assembly line would probably be shut down. BTW, Obama will take $6,000 from your pocket and give it to GE for each of these battery-powered crapboxes they buy.

But Charles Manson Would Approve!
Leftists are starving and impoverishing millions with their green policies, so it’s only fitting that mass murderer Charles Manson gives them his wholehearted endorsement.

I pray you all have a blessed Easter.  See you Monday!

Dear American Taxpayer
For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand
dollars for my vacation in Spain .
My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time.
Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel.

Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close.
That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.
I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table
and trying to make ends meet.
I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago.
I just had to get away for a few days!
Cordially,
Michelle Obama

P.S.
Thank you as well for the $2 BILLION trip to India we recently went on. Love ya, mean it.
P.S.S. We also had a great, great time in Hawaii ....

Charles Manson, huh? Speaks for itself that he endorses green energy.

And why is Charles Manson still alive?

Did you hear the Feds are quickly dumping their remaining interest in GM, now that GM stock is down. The Taxpayer is now taking a big loss.

AOW: Misguided liberal sympathy is what kept Charlie Manson from the electric chair. Liberals prove out Adam Smith every day"

“Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.”

Good ol' stupid Uncle Sam! Buy high, sell low. Does anyone still think it's a good idea for the US government to be involved in the economy?

I know how to fix California's problems. When they come up with an idea they think will work, they should do the opposite. This will insure that they make the right choice 99% or the time.

I'm sure the trip to Texas is just for show. They are beyond help!

Hoping you and yours have a great Easter.

I developed an idea for liberal-residue powered automobiles, but the patent office rejected my application and now I'm getting nasty emails from the civil rights department of the DOJ. The good news is that they think I'm black.

It's like when Bin Laden threw in his official support for John Kerry.

You just don't want some people endorsing your cause.

Happy easter silver.

The one about california begging Texas is the best. What amazes me is that they still don't get it. After all these years of liberal stupidity, they still don't get it.

Ultimately though, no matter how many fact-finding missions these democrats undertake, they'll never quite get it, because the first step to get on the road to success and prosperity is to stop being a liberal.

If democrats really want california to succeed, they all have to resign and take their rinos with them. Otherwise they can adopt all the Texan programs they want to but i guarantee, the urge to 'help' everyone will eventually prove too strong and that will be the turn into mediocrity lane once again.

MK: You'd think they'd get a clue by now. We have myriad object lessons of what works and what doesn't.
