Sir Christopher Lee who played every role from Frankenstein to Saruman, Francisco Scaramanga (the man with the golden gun) to Count Dooku passed away on the 7th of June at the age of 93. He qualified as an Oppidan Scholar at Eton but his father was unable to pay the tuition and he wound up with scholarships in ancient Greek and Latin at Wellington College. He was also fluent in English, Italian, French, Spanish, and German as well as proficient in Swedish, Russian, Greek, and Mandarin Chinese (He played Fu Manchu). Considered by some a veritable polymath, he was also an award winning Heavy Metal artist. You be the judge:
